I rushed the creation of this blog, just to talk about Lupe's new song, Words That I Never Said (Featuring Skylar Grey). The song changed my entire mood for the day. Lately I've been discussing the state of the world with my new roommate, an islamic PhD Student studying how schools colonize their students. The talks leave me dismal. It is disheartening to see some many problems in this world become phantoms, ignored by society left to just linger.
Luckily Lupe is here to change things, and on a stylish beat with recently Grammy nominated Skylar Grey. He goes to town on so many issues, the War on Terror, Education, Fox News, Gaza, Islam, Israel, etc. Did I say the beat was good? It's fantastic. I particularly like Lupe's choice in beats on LASERS, he is rapping over simple simple beats, and it only lets his phenomenal flow shine. And the beat's produced by Alex da Kid it seem he's growing into an amazing producer. Enough words on this, just listen to it.
